The Day
The day I knew I wasn’t the only one who broke the circle, was the day my little sister got married. I felt so proud. She found a man who loved her and accepted the family she came from. I cut of my mother, our mother, long time ago. But I’m glad sister who was 10 years younger reached out again and told me that she will get married. I was so happy that she wasn’t mad at me. I realized, that she also knew that our mother was toxic and narcissistic.
So seeing my sister walking down the aisle and get married to a wonderful man was everything I wished for her.
