Light.

You should have listened. He was right. Walking through the city at night is definitely not safe. But that doesn’t matter now. It won’t change anything. Neither the gun barrel pressed onto your forehead. There is no way getting out now. You never believe that someone just attacks you on the street, till it happens. That man chose you. From all the people… so you are special in some way… The man lets out an evil laughter and fires.

And there it is… nothing, complete darkness. You thought that is it, that death is silent and black, but then you saw a white point in the center of your vision. It was getting bigger, it definitely is. And then you start hearing them. The voices. Your mother calling you for dinner, your father telling you what you mean to him… your friends laughing with you… everyone that ment something to you are there…

And suddenly, they all start syncing together. You can’t still make out words but then-“Your time is up. Better run.” They all shout… _what…? _You think to yourself. And then it hits you. You start sprinting towards the light point. The blackness is absorbing everything but you keep running. “Your time is up. Better run” is still echoing through the black space.

You’re getting so close now. You’re almost there. You got it. You made it to the light. “_Is this heaven?”_ You think to yourself. You hear a faint shutter of voices and beeping but you can’t see more than white screen, almost like a game over in video games. The stutter gets louder and louder. You try to open your eyes, but you can’t.

It takes you a few moments to make out what the stutter is. “Can you hear me?”…”Blink if you can hear us Sebastian.” It takes all your strength to try and open your eyes but it does nothing. You try again… finally… everything is so bright and loud… It gets better after a while and you understand where you are. It suddenly makes sence. The light, the shuttering…

You’re in a hospital. You’re not dead. “_How…?” _You keep asking yourself. You don’t know what time it is, neither where you are. But you’re alive.
