“He’ll cut you down as I’d if you were a mere weed,” Agnes said, pulling her sleeves up.

“Who?” I asked while tightened my shoe laces, prepared for the coming training session.

“Him.” Agnes pointed to a tall man, covered in silver armor. Weapons hung on his belt, all shiny clean. “That’s Caspian. He’s our training leader.”

Caspian strut towards us as if he were annoyed having to train us.

“Light three mile run to warm up,” he commanded in a bored tone.

“He is no charming knight I wished for,” I laughed, breathing heavily from running.

“Caspian is no diamond, that’s for sure,” Agnes replied.

This will be a rough training session.
