POEM STARTER
Write a poem about taking a gamble.
Your interpretation can include the classic ideas associated with gambling, or something more metaphorical.
In The Waiting Room
In the waiting room they play rock paper scissors
Laughing and passing the time
Until they are called to cross the divide
And enter a form yet unborn
They know nothing of wealth or of colour
Nothing of class or of greed
Just innocents passing the time
Until they enter a form yet unborn
