A Sinking Cinquain
She’s gone?
It can’t be true.
I need to see myself.
I was meant to be the first one.
Not you.
Why now?
Why didn’t you help?
No I will not calm down.
What did I do to deserve this?
Save her.
What cost?
I’ll pay the toll,
Just bring her back to me.
I’ll become a better person,
Please, Lord.
She’s gone.
She’s really gone.
She isn’t coming back,
How can I continue like this?
Kill me.
That’s life.
Not fair, but known.
Forever in my heart.
She would want me to keep living.
I will.
