Just wanting to be in a world that isn’t their own

Just trying to forget the memories of the past and present

They preform everyday

Showing talents

They didn’t choose

But they also preform

In a way they hide from the people

That they don’t want them to see

They hide a part of themselves

They know

The world they want to live isn’t real

But they pretend it is

They collect elf swords

Pouches

Weapons

And reads fantasy books

They just want their battle to end

The scars are enough already

Just stop this time

Pause it

And take a break

And let the battle be

And go heal

But it isn’t enough cause they always reopen

And bleed again

A performer with a sword

Fleeting to a world that isn’t their own

Escaping through their mind

And with they collect

Understanding in their actions

With everything they do

With a some purpose

To heal their scars

And to heal others

Trying to find a purpose in life
