I wave goodbye to the person I’ve always known. The girl I met the day I came into this world. The girl I planned to still be with till the end of this world. I waved goodbye to the memories, the laughs, the cries and most of all the comfort of the girl I’ve always known. “Only a call away” sounds nice but what if I need a hug or someone to cry on the sholder of. But what if this isn’t about a girl but about the person but who I used to be. The little girl who’s only care in the world was what ice cream flavour she would have. I didn’t randomly loose her but piece by piece she slowly slipped away until I wasn’t the same girl I used to be. I knew I never would be but I wished it wouldn’t happen so fast but nothing ever happens goes how you hope it would. Maybe she isn’t fully gone but I’ll never fully be the same. I wish I could see her again and tell her not too change but I just have to wave goodbye and keep a hold of the memories. We will never truly be “only a call away.”
