Write a love letter to something in nature.
Affection directed towards nature is a frequent theme in poetry, so now try making it much more literal! The letter doesn't have to be written as a poem, but you could use poetic devices to make it feel more romantic.

Would you hold the words the way you hold the fog to the valley?
Or would you let them go like your tide that drifts from shore?
My dear, your skies are darkening, and your heart is seeping into winter. You won't awake till spring. So I need to know.
