"And remember, I’m only a call away." His words echo in my head.

My thumb hovers over the call button.

My heart is beating out of my chest, as if it’s trying to escape.

Maybe I should just not call him. What’s the worst that could happen?

You could be here all night and freeze to death.

The cold air bites my skin. I stare at my unmoving legs. True.

I sigh and press the button.

He answers immediately.

"Ayan?"

His black RS5 pulls up in front of me. I recognise his number plate(only because when he got it he was so excited about it it and showed off to everyone). AY4N K7AN.

He gets out the car and stares down at me.

"Are you just going admire my face all day or you going to get me home?"

"I can’t help that you’re so gorgeous," he smirks.

I roll my eyes. "Just shut up and lift me up."

"What’s the magic word?"

"Ayan."

"Okay, okay," he chuckles and bends down. He picks me up with surprising ease and places me in the passenger seat.

He puts my shopping into the back and gets into the front with me.

"Thank you," I say quietly.

"Don’t worry about it. Like I said, only a call away."
