Thunder cracked as lightning lit the sky. Mortin looked out over the lake imagining the town across the water. The place of his birth a century ago. And the place of his coming justice. He was going to hurt the people of the town the way they hurt him.

Lighting flashed again and the thunder rolled just like that night so many years ago. He remembered it like yesterday. The mud caked his face as a boot held his face to the ground. His hands tide painfully behind his back.

That was the night he saw them kill his family. They had made the mistake of letting him live. Telling him to warn the other druids never to return. He had of course told the other druids but he knew one day he would be strong enough to walk across the lake. And get the revenge his family deserved.
