POEM STARTER
Inspired by Silver_Fox
If your hand could reach inside my heart, what would you do with it?
Write a poem with this as the opening line
Hand To Heart
If your hand could reach inside my heart, what would you do with it?
Would you caress it as you would a wounded, fragile bird?
Coaxing it to trust, whispering it is now secure.
Would you care for it with patience and pride?
Would you share your fears and dreams - to it would you confide?
Or would it cause you to lust for a romantic rendezvous,
Becoming one instead of bodies as two
Gooey sexy dripping in sweat
Get it pumping real fast as a test
Would you waste both of our time?
Singing it sweet melodies that rhyme
Lulling it to let down its guard
Only for you to completely discard
The connection that was made
Because love can’t last forever - it will fade.
If your hand could reach inside my heart, what would you do it with?
Love it - respect it - care for it …
Or totally chop and screw it?
