POEM STARTER
Write a poem that only involves dialogue.
Remember dialogue has to be between two or more people; it cannot be a monologue. Try to make it clear which voice is speaking when.
Clothes
Dad: “Jay, figure out what clothes you’ll be wearing tomorrow.”
Nova: “Dang. I don’t even know what I’m wearing tomorrow. “
Dad: “Well then you should go figure it out, huh?”
Nova: “Okay. Tomorrow will be my all black day* then.”
Jay: “Mine too!”
Dad: “…Y’all depress me.”
Jay: “How?”
Nova: “Why?”*mumbles* “wow okay…”
Dad: “…nevermind. Forget i said anything.”
