STORY STARTER
An artist must spend hours painting one person, but they become enamored with the subject's beauty to the point of their distraction.
Whichever narrative viewpoint you choose, try to include emotive and evocative language to portray the artist's fascination.
There was no Muse
Start with the structure. Required part of the sketch. No real image needs to come from it, only a glimpse at the actual pose. mostly squares and circles connected by a thin line.
Then move on to guidelines. turn that circle that barely resembles a head into a more appropriate shape, copying that same instruction until the guidelines resemble a body shape.
Finally add details. My pencil flew across the paper softly, adding locks of hair and a oversized shirt on my drawing. Once the sketch was done, I pulled out my watercolors. A faded brown for the hair, dark red shirt and blue eyes, just to mix it up.
After who knows how long, I had finished. No reference or muse, no breaks. And he was beautiful.
I kneeled, staring at the art, admiring my own work. Slowly, I stood up and took a walk.
Then I saw him. It was the same man I jad drawn! I giggled hysterically and ran up to him, collapsing in his arms. The man welcomed me, and soon we were laying on the ground together as I closed my eyes.
_Good Morning Helena, Montana! On this fine morning, something pretty cloudy happened. After being reported missing, a young artist named Nancy Smith was found dead a few hundred feet from her house. Her cause of death was from starvation and exhaustion, though in her house you could see a magnificent painting! Athorities guess she had gone days without sleep and food working on the artwork, and presume she had gone for a walk once she had finished, and died in the forest. I belive her work was truly outstanding, and its become infamous already! Haha, if only she was around to see it! In other news… _
