Write a short story about a child going missing, where it’s up to the child’s guardian angel, the monster under their bed, and their favorite stuffed animal to team up and rescue them!

The Three Musketee- Nevermind

“Guy’s this is serious, please just listen” I ask trying to keep my calm. What has this come to, my job to keep this kid safe has landed me working with a scarily well loved stuffed bunny, and a dragon, horse, dog hybrid who has scared Elizabeth since she was two, but now she can’t do that because Elizabeth has been missing for a three days now. How do I manage to work with this mess.

“Where’d Eliza go, Gabriella?” Bella Bunny asks her voice high and face innocent as can be even thought the light pink fur that once covered has disappeared from all the time spent with Elizabeth

“I know where she went!” Bobbly calls pullin herself out from under the dusty bed. I sigh knowing this can’t go well. The bunny and the monster have two very different definitions of well, everything, and so do I. Where I am here to protect our girl form things of the world, Bobbly is there to toughen her up, then Bella comforts her. That’s how everything works around here, just because we kind of work together doesn’t mean we all agree with each other.

“Where is she then?!” Bella asks excitedly, clapping her paws together and jumping around in circles. I sit on the dresser waiting for Bobbly’s comment that will knock all the excitement out of Bella leaving me to comfort her while the dusty monster laughs at herself

“I,” Bobbly starts smiling and pauses as Bella nods her head waiting for the rest, “Ate, her” The monster still half under the bead beams as Bella streaks in horror. I slap my palm to my forehead before lowering myself from where I sit and settle next to Bella on the pastel rug in the middle of the of the room

“Bella Bun” I say placing my hand on her fur less back “Bobbly didn’t really eat Elizabeth” she looks into my eyes confused as I tell her this like it’s a groundbreaking discovery that ninety percent of what Bobbly says is no where near true

“Ye-“ Bobbly starts and Bella’s eyes dart to the monster who is now sitting on the floor next to the bed looking at it longingly because it’s the one place she’s forbidden to go, anything on the bed, she can’t touch it but the moment it comes off it’s fair game.

“No” I interject sternly, “you didn’t. I don’t know where our girl is but we are going to find her so lets go” I open the window scooping Bella into my arms as I leap out extending my feathery white wings, Bobbly jumps out after me groaning in annoyance that she has to leave the room, spreading her wings which are the exact opposite of mine, scaly, green, that look no where near proportional to her large body. But all things aside, we all love our girl and are going to find her, no matter what stands in our way, we would rip the universe apart for her, even Bobbly. And if that’s what we have to do, than so be it. We’re like The Three Musketee- nevermind.
