Tegorí
"He’s insane, Clem," Kafsi whispers to me. "Tegorí." _Crazy._
"He acts like he’s best friends with the gods above," Niko scoffs, leaning against the wall of the alleyway.
I watch the long blond haired man cup hands and look up a the sky above with closed eye. He’s saying something. Something that I cannot hear from this distance.
"He cannot be that bad."
"Tegorí~" Kafsi whispers underneath his breath. Naja swats his arm. He jumps and glares at her, rubbing the spot where she hit him.
"Look—" I turn to my friends. "He’s Wyatt’s brother, okay?"
"Afôn tegorí alfôs," Kafsi mutters. _His crazy brother._
I waterweave a tentacle from a small puddle and slap him with it. "Would you shut up?"
"Fine, fine," he sighs and stands up straighter.
"He’s probably praying to the gods right now," Niko watches Tratis from afar.
"Is he not cold?" Naja tilts her head.
Tratis is currently shirtless, revealing his rather hairy chest. He’s also wearing a thin orange fabric around his waist which, thankfully, is just thick enough to not be seen through.
I roll my eyes and sigh. "I’m going to go talk to him."
"No, Clem, wait-!" Niko tries to grab me but I walk away quicker.
I walk up to the man who stands at the docks. "Hey, Wyatt’s brother, right?" I smile.
Tratis turns to me and smiles. "Yes, Tratis." He sounds exactly how I imagined him sounding. All groany but relaxed. "You know my brother?"
"Yes," I nod. "That’s what I wanted to speak to you about. He’s uh.. He’s part of my father’s rebellion. Firebound. Wyatt had wanted to me to tell you-"
Tratis’s eyes widen. "What? Dude, that is totally not cool!"
"Uh.."
"I told him we don’t believe in higher forces!"
"We’re not-"
He storms off.
I watch him, stuck to my spot.
"Okay, then…"
