It could be a red balloon or a blue bird - this is a good way to really get into vivid and metaphorical descriptions!
My World Of Blacks And Whites
The pain he caused made my world of blacks and whites,
No colors of sorts can be found,
No values just shades of black and grey,
He brought me pain,
The sadness within,
Till one day I’m able to see colors within,
Roaming the streets,
Finally away from him,
I see the teddy bear in a little girls hand,
The same one I had once,
A light woody brown,
With a singular pink bow around the neck,
The bear so warm are worn,
You can easily tell the memory’s it holds,
Away from him the color returns as the sky shines blue and the horizon turns orange,
The balloons of reds and blues,
Flowers of purples and pinks,
The toys of various colors and values,
The happiness has return,
The color now here.
