When I look in the mirror, I see the devil himself staring back. Like Dorian Gray, my sins are reflected in his red, wrinkled skin, my sorrows hidden behind his raging eyes, fire dancing on the pupils. He has grown with me, chosen all of the things I try hardest to hide, and stolen them away to his side of the glass. I love him for it. He takes everything I hate most about myself and hides it away, keeping it only to show me. It’s good to have a reminder. It’s good that no one else looks in the mirror with me.
