POEM STARTER
Write a Horatian ode to a fictional character that you admire.
Horatian odes are short lyrical poems that deal with themes of love and friendship. They are written in stanzas of 2 or 4 lines, with a consistent metrical pattern.

Unbosomed as though a sword may gleam,
And salve upon the torn—
And as the fires wane for none
And iron all the frail—
The holy tigress stands with love;
Her sword a rosary
