Stars, sleep, and witching hours

When the dark takes over me like the sun

I turn into the shadow of myself you only see at day

Just like me, you will to

Maybe you haven’t had the moon take over yet

Once it does… It never stops coming back from the shadows

Monsters, empty, and cold

When the night comes over me like the warm covers

In the dark, everything and everyone is a shadow

When you feel most comfortable and want to run away

Something about the darkness at night does that

There is no light in the dark

You and me become our worst selfs

When you become your worst enemy

You become you shadow that you’ve always had in you

So take in the shadow at darkest part of the night

It will all be gone till tomorrow night
