WRITING OBSTACLE
Demonstrate. Incapacitate. Solidify.
In a story of no more than 10 sentences, use these three words in any order. The point is to create a story line that allows you to link them all naturally, without forcing them into random places.
SIP Cousin Eli
In memory of a cousin dear,
Whose absence fills our hearts with fear,
Gone too soon, without a chance to say goodbye,
Leaving behind tears that we cannot deny.
A bond so strong, forged through the years,
Laughter and secrets, and shared hidden fears,
Now the echo of your laughter fades away,
Leaving us longing for just one more day.
Your smile, your warmth, your gentle embrace,
Memories of you time cannot erase,
But in our hearts, you'll forever stay,
In every moment, in every way.
The pain of loss cuts deep like a knife,
Leaving us lost in this sea of strife,
But we hold on to the love we knew,
And cherish the moments we had with you.
Though you've left this world, your spirit lives on,
In the stars above and the breaking dawn,
And as we mourn, we'll also celebrate,
The joy you brought and the love so great.
So goodbye for now, until we meet again,
In a place where there's no more pain,
Rest in peace, dear cousin of mine,
Your light will forever brightly shine.
