Write a poem which starts with the description of a sunrise, and ends with a sunset.
Of Life And Death
The sun rises in its orangish glow,
Creeping light across crisp Winter snow.
As the light invades a quiet room,
families wait for your sudden bloom.
Cries ring out as you come into the light,
Family shouts with pure delight.
Your life begins with a perfect sunrise,
Yet as yours begins another dies.
The sun rises higher into the sky,
Plants burst forth and blue birds fly.
Spring rains bring peace and growth,
Your childhood roots take their oath.
One of joy and curiousity,
Innocence not tainted by ferocity.
You play and learn as the sun shines bright,
Growing into life’s perfect light.
The sun now sits at its highest peak,
Warmth pours down like a brilliant streak.
As adulthood takes reign,
Responsibility does drain.
But as these mundane days fade in and out,
Love creeps up on you and it takes sprout.
Life’s adventures never waver,
And you hold these moments as a life saver.
The sun now starts to fade to dusk,
Orange leaves fall and all that remains is a husk.
You look back at a life well lived,
Memories and loved ones with smiles to give.
You lay in bed feeling peaceful and right,
As crops are harvested your soul takes flight.
Nightfall takes hold and the light dims,
As your life ends,another begins.
