POEM STARTER

Write a poem comparing a house and a home.
Hell, House, Home, Heaven
Never Enough
O how there is never enough
My couch can be bigger
My TV can be wider
My home can be bigger
My soul can never be filled
Even with the water glass overflowing
It is still empty
Having too much water
Akin to having none at all
If it means you can never drink
(Hell)
Opportunities lie everywhere
As the closest thing to fortune is misfortune
The closest thing to good memories is bad memories
Yet you are not empty
For that one can be proud
(House)
If one listens closely
The silent voice earns the rollout to a calm summer weekend
If one listens closely
The birds will remind him of what it means to be alive
If one takes nothing he has for granted
Then surely the water he drinks will be sweeter than the finest juices
If one takes nothing he has for granted
Then surely the water he drinks will be sweeter than the last time he was able to
(Home)
An idea
Can shape your world positively or negatively if you give power to it
One must
Slowly navigate this life blindly
Experience
Highs shaped like mountains and lows as deep as valleys
To Understand
Heaven is an idea one must experience to understand
(Heaven)
