but you never hear

about how I'm hurting

But you pay no mind

My stories you call nonsense and stupid shit

That nobody likes or cares about

My brother called me egocentric

and on the same day bent my thumb backwards

Saying I deserved it

You didn't pay any mind to my pain

You don't like me wearing all black

So it's either

be myself

or keep you happy

You say I'm obsessed

with my stories

My devices

My friends

But I'm not

It just gives me an escape

From the world

From everyone and everything that wants to hurt me

I never eat at home because I'm nervous to

Because you say I'm always hungry

and eat to much

Just because I ask what's for dinner

I scream silently
