Not Today, Air
“Water you doing?”
“Air, can you please be quiet. I’m not in the mood for your puns today.” Water said, visibly displeased.
“What’s the problem? Feeling a little under the current? Someone’s a little salty,” Air teased.
“Air,” Water sternly replied, “Not today. Please. I’m just trying my hardest to stay calm and serene right now.”
Water closed its eyes and took a deep breath as it tried to center itself and settle into a small nap.
“Wake up, I’m not done with you. I’m bored, Water. Come play with me,” Air pouted as it nudged Water attempting to get a reaction from it.
Water moved with the nudge and turned to look at Air with a menacing look on its face.
“What did I say?” Water growled through gritted teeth. “You’re not doing this today. I don’t want to get worked up. Just please, stay away from me.”
Air sat silently for a moment as it thought out its next move. Air quietly took a step back before suddenly rushing forward and shoving Water with all its might.
“I said play with me!” Air screamed as it seemed to grow mightily in size.
Water rolled forward from the push and muttered under its breath, “Shit. Air hasn’t gotten like this in a while.”
With a slight tremble from the sight of its friend towering over, Water started backing away.
“You always do this!” Air exclaimed. “You just hate me don’t you?”
Air began to become unctollable and aggressive as it boiled over with anger. Violently lunging forward it began to drive into Water over and over.
Water, not knowing what to do to fight back began running away. Trying to distance itself from Air as it continued to pummel Water with its assault.

The two men rushed around the deck attempting to secure everything down as the waves buffeted the boat, rocking it violently.
“This wasn’t in the forecast!” The older man shouted out to his partner as he grabbed onto the rail for stability. “Something is scaring the ocean today!”
