STORY STARTER
The main characters are stuck in a labyrinth; it has no exit, but they do not know that.
Write their story; how can such a story end?
Maybe.
We have been walking for a what feels like a hour, that’s what we calculate. But honestly we don’t know it yet. The clocks are broken, the seconds last quicker than normal ones in some of them and there is more hours than I can count on the clock that is placed at the end of the hallway. I have seen it already 7 times and the sound of our steps is making me sick, I don’t have any idea where the exit is but I’m aiming to get out soon.
We are at the beginning again, I can sense it. Well, I can see it because there is a black cat on the tea table in the center of the room we’ve just entered. Its eyes pierce my soul and I can feel how my friend at my right tremble as well. It feels like our souls are being costed and watched by nothing.
Since some time ago, I don’t know exactly how much, we haven’t spouted a single word. I think we all don’t have the energy to do it. That was until Janeth did it.
- Let’s go the other way around. - with her head, she pointed at the hallway at our left - We have taken the right direction enough.
I nodded with my head, she was right, we’ve been walking towards the right direction for too long. But James had to talk back, as always.
- Because if you haven’t notice, the right way seems kinder to ourselves -
He wasn’t wrong neither. In fact, the right way seemed even bright compared to the left way. But, before I could show my opinion, Janeth sighed and shook her head.
- Well, life isn’t easy, James. So let’s go - she took my hand to pull me over the left hallway.
The other ones didn’t say anything, they just followed. After all, there was nothing else to do. We were little by little nearer to the end…
Maybe.
