Everyone talks about how they left but they never talk about the heartbreak that follows. It’s an indescribable mix of mind numbing pain and anger. In the moment you feel completely numb-like all you can do is sit there and watch. After they leave though, you get so sad it turns into anger. That anger is powerful. It makes you say and do things to the person you loved so dearly. You still do love them. You never really stop, you just move on. Its as simple and difficult as that. You love and get loved, but in the end does it really matter if all they’re gonna do is walk out?
