Dear journal,
The news arrived on Sep 1
The first day of school
We were rushed onto busses
Strange day to have a fire drill right?
But we weren't going to the great lawn across campus
We were going to space
Most of us at least
Bomb shelters and bases
Spaceships and shuttles
Destination unknown
This diary is my only escape from reality
The teacher was right it helps us take our minds off
The lost.
