Sit in line and wait

Only eat what’s on your plate

Just saying yes or no

Not questioning if there is more to know

This leads to an easy fate

Yet it’s rather boring and slow

Walking through life on a paved road

It has no roses to show

Taking all there is to take

Might also leave your back with an ache

Yet you’ll walk life seeing many

Despite people saying you need more then a penny

Wearing what people say shouldn’t be worn

Doing “weird” things that make people scorn

They will hit you and cast you away

Yet you will know happiness was born

You must hold onto originality with all your might

Because people wish to be perfect every night

Even if you get weird looks

They will still judge you

All because you don’t live by a book

If you’re still happy everyone will be shook

Being happy isn’t about being in line

Most people hide behind lies

To be happy you must remove these ties

Although being yourself you might be shunned

Just for not continuing the act

These people aren’t the ones you should be with

They still need to break out of expectations

Living true and happy may sound easy

But it ain’t that simple

You have to walk through the rocks

On the unpaved grass

Among the flowers you’ll step on thorns

Thorns are natures glass

Dead people you may pass

It will be bloody definitely not simple

But all you need is courage to keep going

In the end frolicking in the feilds as you wish

Is a whole lot nicer then being “normal”

Being different is your duty

This is how bleeding leads to beauty
