Today, I must garden such flowers. Pale beauty, ready to rot through the winter snow. Uneternal until the heights of spring.

My long mane of hair flows around my head, untaught by the winds. Yet I watch the florals bloom in water.

The fog of the forest remained, since beginning.

Of such beautiful ladies, she had come enchanted. To be handled by such public eyes, was unable. A gown of longing, she was one of perfect.

I placed the bucket of wasted water onto the dusty floor. Loneliness haunted home, for nobody else was there.

The flowers smiled and dance at me, telling me the joys of life. Stories of love, where a knight would give me closure, freedom. Perhaps they could handle the belle.

So I’d wait silently, for a hero.

Yet, I heard life, a crunch.

I twisted my head, to find a disgusting creature. Long limbs such as mine, contorted in unnoticed angles. Her clothes were long lasting, light and torn.

I covered myself in horror of such ugliness, so did it.

We stared in sync, mockingly.

I screamed, only one voice, two mouths. As nothing worked, nothing made sense.

I smashed the mirror of truth.

It didn’t leave my skin.
