"Hey, Ricky," she smiles with tears in her eyes.

I haven’t heard that name in a while. "Hey, Anastasia," I give a small smile back. She looks exactly the same but so so different. I look over at the man beside her. Now _he_ looks different. "You alright, Eiran?"

"I was until I saw you, Alric," he answers coldly.

"Ouch."

Anastasia glances from me to her husband. She can sense the tension. I personally was very excited to see my childhood friends again but hey, if he wants to be bitter— he can stay bitter. I sigh softly and look around, "It feels like just yesterday we were little kids running around this very garden paths."

Anastasia smiles at the memory, Eiran just frowns. I don’t think he’s very happy to see me. "Enough with the sentiments. Just tell us about your kingdom’s plan for the war."

I exhale, "Fine."
