Asha watched as the castle burned. Her family was in there. Her mother, her father, Kara, Dax, and Weston. Everyone she ever loved was burning in the crisp fire that came from _them_.

Asha surged forward, but two strong hands yanked her backward. She was pulled into Ariston. She flailed in his grasp, but he was too strong to fight her.

“Asha, you can’t go in there,” he screamed.

“Watch me!” She screamed back.

Blood soaked the floors around her. Ashes fell from the sky. This was _their_ fault. That stupid secret rebellion.
