Marlo was walking down her rusty, old street filled with witches and wizards that lived in harmony. For now. She was working on her latest curse. Marlo would curse the entire town with a terrible sickness that could only be undone for a single person if that person found their soulmate. Since curses are always broken from love, she couldn't find a way to stop it. She just wouldn't tell anyone that it was breakable.

Marlo opened her creaking door and stepped inside and coughed. She was a younger witch. 24 to be exact, but that didn't stop her house from smelling old. To fit in and make everyone believe she was nice, she hosted suppers at her house. All the old witches and wizards come and make it smell old.

Vengeance, her black ferret with one robotic leg jumped up onto her shoulder. He rubbed his head on her neck and looked at Marlo with adorable little eyes.

She sighs. Marlo needed to get a new pet if she was going to keep up with the whole evil persona.
