POEM STARTER
Write a winter Pantoum.
A pantoum is a poem where each stanza is 4 lines, and the second and fourth line of each stanza are repeated as the first and third lines of the next. As this creates a lot of repetition, try to pick a winter theme that would benefit from emphasis of certain lines.
Daylight Savings Rhyme
Not again, the dark is creeping in
Oh, how I loath the black vail of cold
It makes crawl my skin
Perhaps, I am just getting old
Oh, how I loath the black vail of cold
Depressed and cast down
Perhaps, I am just getting old
Misery and hell all over town
Depressed and cast down
Winter knocked on the door
Misery and hell all over town
What even is the Daylight Savings for?!
