Portrait
Framed in abstract,
Unable to react.
From my mind i must redact,
But it is from the heart.
Painted over time,
It is considered a crime.
From my mind i must chime,
But it is a work of art.
Agonised over colour choice,
To find a unique voice.
In my mind i found poise,
And itβs off the chart.
Over thought the end result,
In my ghosts I did consult.
All they did was insult,
And now I can't bear to part.
