Why do roses have thorns?
Write a poem that discusses this question.
We Had Fun
A bottle clanked
then several more
until we were tanked.
you were never a bore.
perhaps it was a flaw,
but we had fun, who cared it wasn't a law.
The touch of your skin on mine still lingers,
the feel of her fingers.
The feel of her fingers finding just the spot,
the spot where she seeped the syringe through my skin to rot.
but we had fun she said even when i woke up to the dark
in the middle of a park.
her soft feather like face engraved in my mind,
she was delicate, No she looked delicate
until she'd prey upon those who were blind.
once she was shy and quirky, the next she was high and hard to estimate.
you wouldn't notice at first
its got to be the clean flesh coloured bronze,
blind until she turns your life for the worst
she was as beautiful as a rose,
yet like all she had thorns.
but why? she wanted to have fun, who knows?
