POEM STARTER

This poem can be in any style and with any theme, but try to write in a genre that you wouldn't normally try.
Forever
**F**alling behind, stumbling blindly. This is not ny life, there is a world that awaits me, right after today. A world that never ends.
**O**f course I know what to expect, after I say “I do!” Because haven’t I been waiting, of course I’ve thought it through. Forever with him, I can do.
**R**emembering the pain I felt, is what made me convinced sooner. I know to see change, you have to break, and to feel alive, you have to do it with someone. I know.
**E**very time I look at him, I know forever won’t be long. A blink of an eye and we are old, madly in love. Now he blinks his eyes at the alter, as I stare deeply into his.
**V**anishing from my spot at the alter, I find myself in a room. “Where’d he go!” I scream, but “where am I?” Might have been wiser. The room held nothing, just a single box inside. There I stood, fascinated, and before my eyes, the box opened. All by its self.
**E**ver so slowly, I peeked in the box, my wedding gown collecting dust from the room. Before I had the chance to brace myself, I was sucked in. Black for a moment, then a flicker of light. A lamp.
**R**eaching for the lamp, I saw a figure. It was me, in the future I presume, writing something, tears falling from my eyes and landing on the paper. Looking closer, I saw it was divorce papers.
And I was just another women who missed forever.
