STORY STARTER

Despite their friends’ advice, a character vehemently believes they can ‘fix’ their love interest...

Early Childhood;

a vast desert oasis stood the kingdom city of Cairo Utopia. It was ruled by the pharaoh, Yoesph Neferhotep, his queen, Amara Yasmin, and their daughter, Princess Amira Jasmine. The royal family had a strong, supportive bond with the Christian community, a faith that was a deep and vibrant thread in the fabric of their lives.

A fallen City;

One day, a great flood shattered the peaceful kingdom. Powerful waters tore through the city, destroying homes and temples. In the chaos, Amira managed to escape the devastation and was forced to flee into the unforgiving desert, leaving everything she knew behind.

A Mysterious Weapon:

Eighteen months into her journey as a survivor, Amira walked the endless dunes. She spotted the ruins of an abandoned temple, half-buried in the sand. Desperate for supplies or a weapon, she cautiously approached the crumbling structure. Inside, nestled among the fallen stones, lay an ornate mace. The moment her fingers closed around its handle, the ground beneath her began to tremble. The ancient temple groaned, beginning to collapse around her. Amira sprinted for her life, narrowly escaping as the ruin fell into a cloud of dust. She fled through the desert, the earth's tremors echoing her pounding heart.

A Voice of an Angel:

Exhausted, Amira lay down on a smooth rock, finally allowing her mind to rest. She drifted into a deep sleep and dreamed of an angel's soft, comforting voice. The angel promised she would soon meet a friendly encounter. When she awoke, she knew it was a message from God. With a renewed sense of purpose, she continued her journey.

The Meeting

The next morning, under the blistering sun, she walked on, taking a long drink from her canteen to stay hydrated. She spotted a cheetah standing in the middle of the path, his hand on his chin in a thoughtful pose. A flutter of anxiety rose in Amira's chest, her hands clenching into fists. It was Syrus, the legendary cheetah. But then she remembered the angel's message and the verse her mother used to read, Philippians 4:13. A wave of calm washed over her. She took a deep breath, unclenching her hands, and decided to approach him with a friendly wave. He noticed her and grinned, waving back.

Suddenly, a robot appeared. Its metallic body was an eerie, robotic copy of Syrus, and a glowing mark on its chest identified it as "Metal Syrus." Its mission was to capture Amira and lure the real Syrus into a trap. It quickly lunged forward, seizing Amira. She instinctively swung the mace, but her inexperience was no match for the robot's brute strength. It lifted her effortlessly into the air. Trapped in its vise-like grip, she looked back at the unblinking, creepy eyes of her captor. The air was squeezed from her lungs, and she gasped for breath.

In a flash, a figure jumped into action, turning into a tight ball and slamming into the robot's chest. A red alert flashed on its chest as its systems registered the unexpected impact. The robot was rattled by the sudden maneuver, and a heroic figure landed on top of its head. As Amira fell, she was caught just in time by the fast figure. She opened her eyes to feel the pressure ease from her body, held safely in the arms of her hero: the famous, swift Syrus! He gently placed her on the ground.

With a gentle smile, she bowed her head. “Thank you for saving me,” she said.

He tilted his head, a grin spreading across his face. “Hey, no problem. What matters is you're safe.”

“Can I ask you two questions?” he continued, his brows lifted in curiosity.

She smiled and nodded. “Yes, you may.”

“What's your name, and are you a Christian?” he asked.

She smiled and nodded. “Yes, I believe,” she said.

Syrus's eyes sparked, and his smile widened. "That's awesome! Me too. We can be best friends.”

Amira's cheeks flushed, her smile growing wider. A gentle warmth spread through her, and though she knew Syrus was a busy cheetah, a quiet hope blossomed in her heart that their bond might one day grow into something more.
