Unrequited Love

His eyes, the way he moved and talked, his appearance and charm, I wanted him and only him, unfortunately, the only thing right about him was his looks.

“You’re not going out without me!” He yells, his

eyes full of anger and control.

“Oh really? Because it seems whenever you go out to the club I never have a say in you going or not!” I say with much fury.

“You’re a woman, I’m a man, it’s different, calm down, drink some water, we’ll hang out later, when I want to.”

“Are you being serious? I’m going to hang out with my friends and all you have to say is some sexist crap about how I can’t make decisions for myself. You go hang out anytime you please, and how do I know you’re not hanging around with some girl that I don’t know abou-“

I stop mid sentence because he grabs and clenches my wrist, ever so tightly that I felt a crack in my joint.

“I’m not cheating on you, but you’ve got to stop this, Bree, what ever this stuff has gotten into your head, it’s got to go. Please hun, let’s drop this.”

I feel my mouth starting to jitter, I pull my wrist back and run to my room, locking the door and dropping to the floor, my head suddenly starts to feel heavy, transitioning to a meltdown.
