My mother has always told me stories when I was younger, where kids way older than me would get taken away and never seen again. I knew it was fake just probably stories from her books she used to write. But each time she told me it was really scary, it was like my heart knew it wasn’t fake but my mind was trying to tell my heart it wasn’t. This night inparticular I was on my bed one leg was out of the cover, how I always had because I was always cold and hot at the same time. My window wasn’t open but I feel a light whiff of air. All of a sudden I try to open my eyes, but they won’t open. My heart races, my chest is tight, panic spikes. And then.. nothing….
