Write a poem about what streetlights make you think of.
Luminous Lights At Night
A street light, the only object that never fails, it forms the rays of an iridescent, the street light a perennial sight to see, just peering from up above, wondering and thinking, deeply contemplating, what a wonderment of a creation.
As I walk down the street, I deeply scrutinize the object, looking at it with both eyes, recognizing and deeply understanding that it’s been through a lot.
I remember before on how this street light was immaculate, when it had first been installed, it was extremely bright, the best of its kind, forming different colors, from red, orange and yellow.
The street lights are life savers, the street lights assist many passengers and good samaritans.
The street lights were designed for us, the good human beings, the ones that transcend as life progresses, each stage life is handed, though we seek and rummage through life in search for the better.
This bright red and yellow light cloths me, keeping me immaculate, the bright light provides modesty,
Every time I look up at the sky and ask my self why, or how this perfect yellow light is standing directly above me,
I think deeply and say, this bright light is like infrared radiation, the radiation the sun gives off so that the earth can be habitable, and so that green house gases can absorb it.
So as it is said, the bright light gives off this miraculous shine, a shine that lasts, a shine that never vanishes or feels the need to give up swiftly.
This shine is momentarily, I can feel it entering through my skin, interacting with the dermis to the epidermis, entering my brain, providing a way, a journey, something extremely profound,
this light it gives off is somthing exquisite, never will it go out, the city installed it for that exact purpose.
It lets me breath, I know once I’m underneath this extraordinary object I’m not submerged by acidic water, see the city and its people are penetraters. Though with this light shining my way I’m now able to navigate effectively without falling on my knees or rupturing my heart that gives off this everlasting heart beat. So walking down the street does not make me petrified nor terrorized my past memories, this light was put on the street for a specific reason and that is to politely assist me, accommodate me on my hardships.
