Moon, tell me-

Moon tell me are you still there when the sky seems all empty of stars ?

Moon tell me do you still shine as the sun seems to replace you when your back is turned ?

But Moon, an eternity of stars could not replace or at least try , to subliminally enlighten your sky .

O Moon sometimes I ponder,

Where do you conceal the countless thoughts, The silent burdens you lift from me, whenever I sit beneath your radiant glow ?

And you would respond in the way “Where is the person you used to compare me with?”

My heart drowned in melancholy returns to you the question,

O Moon in what realm do you abide, pale guardian of the night.

Tell me where is it that you linger, silent keeper of my sorrow ?

Are you going to vanish in the obscurity of the night like them ?
