POEM STARTER
Write a poem about something meaningful you were once told.
This could be a life lesson, a compliment, or a passing comment that stuck with you. Whatever it was, explore it in a poem.
The Numbers That Count
All of those numbers on your tombstone don’t mean a thing,
All that matters is that dash in between.
Meaningless numbers in your bank account,
The number of lives you touch really counts.
Numbers, numbers, everywhere,
What we do with them will be the cross we bare.
