POEM STARTER
Heavy rain, cracked windows, and a forgotten song.
Use these descriptors as inspiration for a poem.
Lightning And Thunder
I watched seemlessly until someone noticed me.
I sat patiently till someone asked me
I waited till nobody came back to me.
I opened the window open some more.
The thunder crackled through the house.
Someone walked through the door.
The wind chimes blew.
And the sad song of you.
I opened the window even more.
The wind began to howl.
The chimes fell to the ground.
And the walls grew a growl.
I opened the window all the way this time
The rain was so loud.
The wind was so right.
I reach my hand out.
Then the window slammed tight.
The window is shut and sealed
I sit with my back against the window
thunder is cracking throughout the house.
I stair at the lightning and thunder.
The story of my lips,
Just a mutter.
