On a dreary cloudy Tuesday afternoon, sitting alone in her apartment sat a young woman who had hit rock bottom. A previous manager of a locally owned convenient store that she loved, fell through and there she sat scouring the internet looking for any glimmer of hope. There it was, a positing for a team member position at Claire’s in the pine ridge mall. This line of work wasn’t something this particular girl we will call sandy usually did. Sandy applied and was called for an interview the same day, as sandy made her way to the interview hands were shaky and she could feel the beads of sweat fall from her forehead.
