The Moon Rises

i couldn't hear myself think, it was louder than three blenders going off at the same moment. it would go on and on, it would never stop. it wouldn't speak. no, it would make a fuss and cry, coo and smell funny all day round. they all found it cute. I would bark to grab even the slightest bit of attention but i hadn't known that my presence had grown to be a nuance, i had become forgotten. i had become swallowed too deep into the clouds.

Tummy rubs, fetch a pat on the head. I had grown used to that, I was used to that. I should've known it was over the second mums tummy had grown round and large almost the size of a moon. That it was the end, the end of even going perceived. But i chose to be ignorant and now the moon rises while the sun goes unnoticed.
