It was early but she was already late. Her car pulls into the parking lot. Luckily there were a few spots near the back. She grabs her purse from the seat beside her and stumbles out of the car. She rushes to get into the building but goes to the side door as not to attract to much attention to herself.

She slips into the door and down the hall. The floors were extra squeaky today. When she finally reached to door she inched it open and tiptoed her way to a pew near the back. She sat down and slowly pulled the knee rest down with a loud screech.

People in the pews ahead all stopped mid prayer and turned giving her a glare.

“Maybe sneak in louder next time.” A lady sitting in front of her said.

“Sorry Mr. Abbott I had a crazy morning.”
