We live in a world where peace is rare, where our neighbours no longer care for our wellbeing. Where we bow our heads and get on with our days like the world lives in a daze.

We live in a world where war is common, it’s everywhere you look, on the news, in the books and you start to wonder what life would be like in a world not ruled by crooks.

But if we found peace could we get too comfortable? Would the world become insufferable? Would we want space? A little tension? Would we crave the bad attention.

We thrive on drama, we watch it all the time, sometime it even helps us to unwind. I don’t think we want peace, not truly. We want a break, a breathe, a day where we can escape the news, escapism.

There must be a balance between drama and calm, and the moment we’re not there and maybe we’ll never be in our lifetime, but whose to say it won’t happen for descendants to come?
