The World That Turns Their Back On Me
Mind on the edge,
Of barely knowing,
Anything about,
The real worlds problems.
The teachers saying bye,
Pushing us out the gates,
My gears start to turn,
As my stomach starts to churn.
I love my teachers,
But all they cared about,
Was their stupid paycheck,
And leaving early to go home.
I think about life,
Out it the world,
With family and friends,
But it isn’t that happy.
I close my eyes,
And turn my back,
On the world that,
Turns their back on me.
