POEM STARTER
Write a poem about taking a gamble.
Your interpretation can include the classic ideas associated with gambling, or something more metaphorical.
At life's Mercy
Taking a shot at life,
Feel that daylight.
And the cold of night,
Regardless of strife.
Dealt a hand of love,
The queen of my heart.
And a king never above,
Whilst maybe apart.
Dicing with death,
The old snake eyes.
And those that cry,
On their last breath.
The chips are never down,
On this felt lined table.
We hold the crown,
In this; our fable.
...
i love you Baby
