My life's a beacon of vibrant, chaotic light,

All achievement and cheer, perpetually bright.

I overcommit to every single big dream,

Then wonder why my brain feels like a slow, failing stream.

I'm supposed to be balanced, making a positive impact,

But the reality is I'm stretched thin, and that's a fact.

The stress and burnout are my shadow, tall and wide,

Hiding from all the social gatherings where I could have died.

Where there is light, there is always a shadow close behind,

Usually, it’s just me, exhausted, trying to finally unwind.
